This project began with a simple object at UCLA—a trash can. It questions not just how we sort waste, but why the system is designed this way. By prompting reflection on our everyday habits, the project invites viewers to reconsider waste, environment, and corporate responsibility.
The video utilizes a television-switching format to showcase some of my works from the last semester at community college to the first quarter after transferring, including recreations of works that deeply influenced me.
Dodo is an academic clown. It draws inspiration from a character developed during motion class. Prof. Annapurna made me ponder our roles as academic clowns in specific scenarios.
This handmade zine is inspired by an experience of rejection, to process these overwhelmed emotions, I channeled them into this Love Letter as a form of self-reconciliation.
